Responsibilities:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated employees to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with a focus on utility installation, repair, and maintenance. If no experience, on-the-job training may be available.

Some of the responsibilities:

Have a strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Follow all safety regulations and HUC guidelines
Be a team player
Take instruction well, and offer where requested
Manage and care for equipment and materials necessary for each project
Install, maintain, and repair utility systems, including electrical, gas, water, and sewer
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful completion of projects
Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications

Requirements:

Reliability and accountability are imperative as a team member
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Ohio driver’s license, Class A CDL preferred, and reliable transportation
Minimum or no experience for laborers
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred but not required
Knowledge of local and state codes and regulations related to utility installation and repair
Must be able to identify colors for marked utilities
Ability to work independently AND as part of a team
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to lift 50lbs or more
